About Our Town Hall Gathering
Lorian is entering an intentional still point and pausing our classes for the remainder of 2025.
We invite you to join us on Sunday, May 18 for a Town Hall meeting as we give a “field report” on what we are noticing, why we have decided to bring the Lorian field into stillness, what it will mean for our Lorian community in the months ahead, as well as to answer any questions that need to be answered.

Lorian began fifty years ago in partnership with the subtle and spiritual worlds. Everything we have done with Incarnational Spirituality thus far has come from this partnership. Throughout these fifty years, listening to the movement and direction of spirit within us and within the world has been vastly important and has successfully guided us in our work.
Currently, this listening is leading us to create a field of stillness.
The term "still point" is a reference drawn from Craniosacral healing work. As the name implies, a still point is an invitation for a body to pause its established rhythm and come into a state of deep, quiet listening. In this sacred space of stillness, the pause between exhale and inhale, the body is able to hear and attune to the breath of Life itself, and reorient itself to participate in that rhythm. When the body restarts its own rhythmic activity, it does so in coherency with its own wholeness and the wholeness of the world around it.
The Lorian organization is a ‘body’ in its own way. And we have been hearing a subtle request from this ‘body’ to make space for it to shift into a new form and rhythm. Our way of honoring this request is by pausing our classes and most of our activities, with the intention of making space to listen to the emerging note. We believe that pausing consciously in this way will also allow us to hear and attune to the emerging rhythm of the world, so that we may find our complementary rhythm in service to the whole.
We invite you to gather with Lorian on Sunday, May 18 at 2pm Pacific Time for a Town Hall meeting, as we share what we are noticing, why we are making this decision, what it will mean for our Lorian community in the months ahead, and how you can participate in the still point with us.
