Annabel Chiarelli - Staff
Annabel has been active in Lorian since the 1990s and on the staff since 2021. Born and raised in New York City, she currently lives in the French Alps with her husband and son and enjoys hiking and playing guitar. She studied journalism and non-fiction writing at New York University and Queens College and has a degree in English.

Asha Hossain - Board
Asha became a student of Lorian and Incarnational Spirituality in the early 2000s, finding in them a potent pathway towards healing and wholeness. She continues to explore and deepen into the expansive capacities available to us as human beings. She is in awe of what can be possible and is honored to have the opportunity to help hold the Lorian field as a board member!

David Spangler - Faculty, Staff
DAVID is a spiritual explorer, teacher, and writer. He was a co-director of the Findhorn Foundation community in Northern Scotland from 1970 to 1973, and in 1974, he became a founder of the Lorian Association. He has written over 30 books, including four anthologies of short stories.

Elaine Orland - Board
Elaine is an ordained Lorian Priest, a working psychotherapist, singer-songwriter, and director of a Twelve-Step Recovery based theater troupe. Currently she serves as the Secretary of the Lorian Board of Directors. She lives with her husband and family in Memphis.

Freya Secrest - Board, Faculty, Staff
Freya Secrest, MSD has worked with Lorian since its inception in 1974. First ordained by Lorian in 1984, she currently serves as the Community Commons Coordinator. She is a parent, educator, mentor, and grandmother who is passionate about exploring new attitudes and ways of relating with nature and each other that can shape a more interconnected world.

James Tousignant - Board, Faculty
James Tousignant, PhD, is an ordained Lorian priest, faculty, and Board member. His passions are paddling, spiritual research, exploring the subtle realms, and embodying the teachings and practices of Incarnational Spirituality. He has a private practice providing guidance and support to individuals waking up and remembering the reason they came to this world.

Jeremy Berg - Faculty, Staff
Jeremy Berg, MCS, is Executive Director and faculty member of the Lorian Association. He is the author of The Gathering Light and Faerie Blood and artist for The Card Deck of the Sidhe and The Subtle Activism card deck. He is owner of Lorian Press and has worked as an architect, college teacher and administrator.

Julie Spangler - Board, Faculty
Julia is one of the co-founders of the Lorian Association and is currently President of the Board. She is a certified counselor, Parenting teacher, and is ordained in Lorian. She contributed to the book Journey Into Fire with David Spangler, and teaches classes aimed at bringing our spiritual selves into full embodiment in our everyday lives.

Lyra Holt - Staff
Lyra is passionate about sharing Lorian's mission through opportunities to connect with our community. She brings her skills in marketing, branding, and visual design to the team in her role as Public Relations Manager. Lyra lives near Lake Michigan in Evanston IL where she loves to spend time outside enjoying all the varied seasons with her two young children.

Marianne Bromley - Board
Marianne splits her time between Yellowknife, NW Territories, and Victoria, BC. A retired wildlife biologist, environmental educator, and writer, her favorite pastime is sitting quietly in nature. She is an ordained Lorian priest and is drawn to Incarnational Spirituality for its recognition of the Sacredness of the physical world.

Maryn Spangler - Faculty, Staff
Maryn weaves an ingrained Incarnational Spirituality perspective into a decade of study and practice in the fields of mental, emotional and physical healing. She is passionate about spirituality, metaphysics and personal growth. Maryn lives in Western Washington and her favorite thing is to curl up with a cup of tea and a romance novel.

Ron Hays - Board, Faculty
Ron, an ordained Lorian priest and current Board Treasurer, has worn numerous hats in Lorian, including website developer, blog editor, and operations manager. As a Faculty member, he is channeling his passion for Incarnational Spirituality and nature into a program to create new relationships with the natural world.

Rue Hass - Board, Faculty
Rue has extensive training in psycho-spiritual philosophy and Energy Psychology therapies. She has written and taught widely about spirituality, subtle perception, fibromyalgia, and the highly sensitive temperament. She loves partnering with the deeper capacity that shapes each of us to express the power, creativity and magic of being human.

Sally Fox - Board
Sally Jean Fox, PhD, is an author, coach, artist, and lifetime spiritual seeker who blogs about creativity and meaning in times of change. She’s passionate about sound healing, the work of Rudolf Steiner, and, of course, Lorian. She’s also an equestrian, gardener, grandmother, and proud companion to two crazy springer spaniel “joy boys.”

Susan Sherman, MSD, is Lorian's Class Administrator and works with faculty and participants. She is a Lorian priest and spiritual director, passionate about work-as-service and opening to the sacred in the smallest details of everyday life. Susan has a deep interest in healing and an appreciation for nature’s intricate beauty.

Timothy Hass - Board, Faculty
Timothy is an ordained Lorian priest, faculty member, and member of the Lorian Board. Currently a trustee of the WILD Foundation, Timothy has for the past 15 years engaged subtle allies on behalf of WILD Projects globally. He was a Rehabilitation Psychologist for outpatient psychiatric programs for 23 years.
