The Deep Magic of Imagination

the deep magic of imagination

with Rue Hass

exploring the deeper essence of Imagination

January 30 - February 19

OVERVIEW

We say, “Oh, it is just my imagination.”

How do we know what is “true” and what is “just made up?”

Are thinking and imagination different?

And—how does this matter?

DESCRIPTION

This three-week class will help you to answer those questions. More importantly, this class explores the deeper spiritual purpose of Imagination - how imagining actually generates a vision of wholeness, along with the means of bringing it into being. Imagination is a spiritual power.

We humans are already good at this, but in these times, we are unconsciously better at imagining our doom and disconnection than we are at imagining possibilities and connection.

In these dynamic times, if we are willing to hold a frame of forgiveness and opening to possibility, we can see Humanity actually learning to make powerful new choices that are creating the future with love. (Though slowly, and with fits and starts…)

Opening to the act of re-imagining what we are doing and why we are here, is the first step in welcoming the emergence of the new. In this vast experiment of the cosmos, Humanity partners with Gaia. We are coming over time to understand the fascinating, powerful and practical spiritual magic of our cosmic Human Imagination.

The future literally depends on our imagination helping us to become conscious of creating wholeness. Even as children some of our first drawings are of hearts and flowers and suns and stars. We know where we come from!

Our Imagination class will expand and explore our imagination in creativity on all levels. Even if you have taken this class before, you might consider repeating it, both for deepening your own understanding, but also for helping this re-visioning ability to incarnate through us all more fully.

We hope you will join us in opening into your own Sacred Art of Imagination. It will light up every area of your life!

I loved your description of Imagination as a relationship vs something we merely do. That it’s also a blessing, and that it becomes a blessing of deep magic. I also appreciated your drawing out the differences between thinking and imagination and pointing out that Imagination is an act of entering into and sharing the identity or reality of what we’re holding onto as an image.
