Students unfamiliar with online classes often have questions. Here are some of the most frequently-asked questions we've encountered about our online offerings. If you don't find an answer here to your own question, you can contact us directly by email at email@example.com.

After 3 days from the start date of classes, we will not issue a refund. If for any reason we must cancel a class, you will receive a full refund.
Lorian Practice Community: The Practice Community is paid on a month by month basis. You may join the Practice Community at any time during the year. If you wish to withdraw you will be responsible for your subscription fees up to and including the month in which we receive your withdrawal request plus an additional $25 administrative fee.
Do you allow late registrations
We know that people sometimes realize that they have forgotten to sign up for one of our classes and wonder if it is too late to do so. At the discretion of the faculty, you may register for a class up to 3 days from the start date of the class. Afterwards the class is closed to new enrollment.
How do your online classes work?
Lorian online classes are conducted on the internet through the LorianEducation.com classroom site. You access your class through the site address e-mailed to you when your register for one of our programs. You’ll be asked to register on our class site and establish an ID and password. This gives you access to your class and Learning Library where you class archives are stored. On the day your class begins you will receive an email reminding you to join in and clicking on the link provided will bring you into your class. There you simply click on the available topics and enter your response to questions, communicate with the instructor or engage in discussion with other students by typing in your comments. Classes usually include downloadable books or other written essays and experiential exercises presented by the faculty. You can work with this material at your own pace over the week. Responses to class material and others‘ comments are typed within designated topic areas. All information posted will be available in your ongoing Learning Library archive. Also, you’ll be able to download and print the class material on your home printer.
What about confidentiality?
Everyone who participates in the class—even the instructors, are asked to sign a Covenant of Confidentiality to support the privacy of each class session. We ask that no material is shared outside of the class group without first obtaining the writer’s permission. This contributes to a safe sharing space that allows all to trust that their thoughts and experiences will be respectfully held.
