This fascinating four-week, five-webinar class is a guide to discovering our natural intuitive wisdom, through listening to the human body in conversation with its environment. Our mind-body-spirit presence translates what is unseen, subtle, and spiritual into felt awareness for our conscious minds. This is a new way of studying spirituality that goes beyond concepts about wholeness to engage the wisdom of what we know directly, intuitively, through our bodies.

When my subtle colleagues speak to me it’s through what I think of as an energy pattern, a configuration of meaning in a subtle energy form. Their message is a “shape” and my energy body adopts that shape, internalizes it, and holds it until I can do something with it. It simply merges with my energy field and becomes part of me. It becomes what I call a felt sense.
It’s like receiving a computer file that I download later. When I have a chance to write down what I downloaded, I simply attune to that “file” or presence within my field. I “re-member” that felt sense.
This sounds very mental, but in fact, my mind plays only a small part in this process; it supplies the words and language. I’m actually operating out of a felt sense of what the message was, stored now in many parts of me as a whole system–in my body, in my subtle field, in my mind and feelings.
This kind of immersive and expansive experience is very much part of what subtle senses convey to me. They don’t just give me information; they actively connect me to the world around me. I don’t just see. I become part of.

I think the real story of spirituality is about being at home in our bodies. This is a big learning. No one shows us how to do this. In our past, we have mostly been rewarded for “being in our heads,” being “smart.” We don’t have a lot of good models of true incarnational spirituality—how to be a wise blessingful presence in our bodies.
In exploring how our Subtle Perception is different from our “regular” senses, we learn how to recognize and trust our inner signals. We learn how to translate this inner knowing into conscious awareness. We find and feel the innate wisdom of being part of the experiment of Cosmic Humanity. Now we can bring this knowing back into our daily lives as a Human in the world.
I find it so helpful and even comforting to hold this expansive perspective during the present drama of affairs in the world. Placing the chaos of today into the context of this vast unfolding cosmic experiment of Humanity…lifts me up, and invites me past fear. Now I can move forward with interest and curiosity.
This class in Incarnational Spirituality, Subtle Perception - our Gaian Intelligence, is a useful, practical exploration into the mystery and wisdom of incarnation in a Gaian universe.
Class Format and schedule
On the class site, you can deepen into an exploration of your innate Felt Sense, practice exercises, ask questions, and share your insights and your discoveries. This is a wonderful way to build connections within ourselves and with the living world.
Subtle Perception - a Gaian Intelligence’ will be held on Lorian’s online education site, lorianeducation.com with written materials and live webinars. You will have access to the presentations, discussions, and materials 24/7 through your ongoing Learning Library account.

Class Facilitator: Rue Hass
Rue Hass, MA is a Spiritual Life Path Coach and Intuitive Mentor and author. Her background includes university teaching, broad, deep training in psycho-spiritual philosophy, NLP, energy psychology, and the graduate school of motherhood. Emerging from the social/political action of the 1960s-70s in Chicago, she lived in the Findhorn spiritual community in Scotland from 1974-1981. She was ordained as a Lorian minister/priest in 2011.
